Hoods are commonly used in BDSM scenes as a form of sensory deprivation, breath play, or objectification. Hoods are most commonly made from leather or latex.

I find hoods to be a fun way to incorporate sensory deprivation into scene, or turn a sub's face into nothing more than a hole to fill. I especially love leather hoods.
