Right at the end of March I had took an amazing trip to Mexico with a friend group I have known for 10-15 years. I find these kinds of trips necessary for My enjoyment of life: reconnecting with old friends, taking time away from the hustle of NYC, getting back to nature, and simply spending time in leisure. I also love exploring a new place, enjoying the culture and cuisine, and seeing local attractions.
We rented a magnificent property with a main building as well as three other smaller buildings. There were also three pools, and the main one was larger than any private pool I’ve ever seen. Waking up to the sounds of birds and taking a dip in the pool was the perfect way to start each day.
Although we spent a good amount of time relaxing by the pool and enjoying the massive villa, we also made sure to get out and explore! I have an adventurous spirit and love nature, so these kinds of activities on vacation really please Me. We made sure to visit some of the local beaches, swam in cenotes, climbed ancient Mayan ruins, and of course saw local street art and sampled some amazing authentic Mexican food. Mexico has such a rich culture, and the landscape on the Yucatan is gorgeous. The soft sand and crystal waters of the Caribbean are a dream for Me.
